Looooong time.

So.. it's been a bit since I have blogged. Things have been KA-Razy. Money has been tight, I had a friend in town last week. She's pretty awesome. Soccer and softball have been a blast. It's really just been busy, but stressful.

Life though, has been good. Reconnected with someone from my past. We went to HS together. Never really talked to each other back then, but now there is a spark. We realized this back in Dec. I was going to visit her at the end of this month, but money has made me cancel that. It sucks. There are times that I wish I was a 'lucky' person and never had to worry about $$, but then what kind of life would you have then? Look at Paris Hilton, Britney, Lindsay, and all of them who kinda go crazy. I kinda like just working and getting everything that way.

Oh this dream I had last night was nuts. It was so detailed that I could believe that it happened. I felt the emotions while I was dreaming. Here's the just of it. It was me getting arrested for shoplifting on accident. I left something on the bottom of my cart. Got probation. Then found out that my cousin was dating a girl that was carrying my kid. Had no clue. Was pissed off and was ordered to not visit my kid while on probation. They tried to keep it away from me. I tracked them down, they wouldnt let me see her at all. I finally saw my kid and tried to stay with her, but everyone pulled me away... It was very detailed.

Well...

I think there are something in life that just embarrass me, even though it's not totally me. One, is when something goes wrong, and my phone gets shut off. Whats worse, is when you totally went to the website, logged in, clicked on make a payment, get sidetracked, and never hit the confirm payment button. So alas, my phone is off. I know what your thinking, but I never answer numbers that are not in my phone unless they are from Jacksonville, Alaska, Missouri, or Kansas. Yes, I also am very bad about checking messages. I normally just call you back when I see I have a missed call. I guess I should have checked it. No big deal though, i get paid today. Of course something is wrong with my paycheck. It's short. So my bill now is $241 and I have about half. Waiting on work to make the paycheck right and then I will get it back on.

The Brett Andrews Radio show will be in town this weekend. Kinda sad when you don't see your best friend for two years. Whats worse, is when you are this strapped for cash. No matter what this will be a great weekend.

Last... Someone who I have 'know' for at least 10 years, is making me smile.

2009

Another year has ended, and every year I write one of these blogs... Last year I set some goals for myself: Lose more weight, buy a new car, get my own place, and a handful of others. Well, I got like 4 outta 6.

So here goes 2009....

I want to enjoy life this year. The little things that should make me happy. Great Friends, Great Times, Great Stories...

I am going to stay outta the drama that people seem to love. It's a virus. It's like a bad drug. You can get too deep into it and it will bite your ass back.


I am going to find my thing that I can do to make my mark. I know my show can do that, but I think there is something out there I am missing. It's gotta click. This year I will try to spark the click.

I will better someone else's life this year. I don't know how yet, but I am going to do something that will change, even if it's just slightly, someone's look on life. I have been blessed to live a pretty good life, now it's my time to return the favor.

I want to solidify myself in my career. It is changing ever week so I want to be ahead of the curve. This might be the most challenging thing I will attempt in 2009.

I want to be healthier. Eating better food. Maybe organic. I want to continue to 'fit myself up'.

This weekend is going to be fun. I am in a soccer tourney. Then later this month, B-retta is coming to Jax. I have not seen that guy in 2 years.

So to everyone out there.... I hope you make 2009 yours.

Early Christmas present....

Two years later...... I get to do my show again. I totally want to revamp it though. I have learned alot in the last two years to help me do this. I don't want to do the 'classic' night show.... I want to do something new for the time slot. I have a lot of planning to start on.

Stay-cation.

My vacations are pretty much heading home to Wichita, chillen, and seeing friends and family. Not this time. Money is tight right now. Gas was killin me, then moving, I just haven't bounced back.

So it's my first stay-cation. Staying home. I thought about heading to Tampa, or somewhere like that, but I dont think I would have enough to get a hotel and gas and food. I might head to West Palm Beach and hang out with some friends there. I dont know.

Weekend of productivity.

I was on a mission the weekend. To get ish done. I fixed my car, clean and did laundry, got back to the gym, and bathed my dog.

Now, to some, that doesn't sound like alot. To me, it is. I needed to get my locks on my car fix for some time. One had fell inside the door, and was screwing up my window when it rolled up and down. The other was my trunk. I am not one to enjoy working on cars. I hate it, but I have grown up around it all my life. My mom worked on cars, my family on my dad's side worked on cars, and when I lived with my aunt and uncle on the farm, we had to fix our own stuff. So I finally took on the task of taking apart my passenger side door. Something I have been dreading for weeks. Am I gonna break any clips that holds the panel on? Did someone try to break into my car and punched the lock through? Does the lock still work. Turns out, it worked fine. A bolt had came lose and fell out. Simple enough. and the trunk was just putting a bracket back on. Done in 30 min.

Cleaning and laundry and my dog where all just tedious tasks.

Oh, Finally had time to have Comcast hook up cable and internet! DVR is my new toy. Can't wait to get cought up on Chuck, How I Met Your Mother, and other show.

Swagger like meeeeeeeee.

Life sometimes is good, and sometimes bad. I am used to it. I go up on the rollercoaster, and plummet down faster than the stock exchange. I hasn't killed me yet, so I guess it's going good.

Sometimes I wonder why things go bad. Why is it that every December is a 'bad' month for me? I don't know how this December will go, but the end of November was kinda crazy.

Then I look back at what I came from.....and all that crap that happens in December, really doesn't compare.

I have came from crap, and really life is GREAT. I really can't complain that much. Ehhh money gets tight, then I fix it.
