New Apartment

So for the first time in 6 years, I have MY apartment. No roomates! It's nice. I like it. I have always had a roomate except for the year 2002. Uhhhh, yea, awesome. Plus, they place is rad. It's got a washer and dryer in the damn thing. No more getting my clothes jacked at the complex laundry mat.

My dog Izzy isn't to sure about it. She has to be on a leash when she goes outside now. Before she could go out, sniff around, not be bothered, explore the woods in the back. Poor girl.

Now the only worry, is cash. When it's a $300 deposit for my dog, a $200 dollar deposit for starting utilities, $570 security deposit, $570 first months rent, $200 in Application fee's, $300 car payment, cell phone, insurance, credit card bills, and all that ish, it's starts to add up for one month.

Just have to watch my spending this next two weeks.

More later.

Thanks.... and Turkey Day!

So here I am again, away from family, close friends, and loved ones, and it's Turkey day. I am what you would call a 'transient'. My name is Bradly. I am the guy who goes by many names though. BJ, Brad, Kracker, Spoon are just a few. Which do I prefer you ask? I really don't care. They are all names from different times of my life. For the Blog, I will call myself Spoon.I am a radio Dj. It's a career that makes you move to get ahead sometimes. I wouldn't change it for the world. I was maybe in 7th grade when I got the Radio 'bug'. I would record DJ's off the radio, and then listen to it over and over again. I loved the goodnight line with Greg 'The Hitman' Williams. Fast forward to me on the College radio station at Butler County Community College. Man was it addictive. Well, College was cool, but it cost me way to much money. I had to get a real job again and pay bills. So I got a job at Aarons Lease and Purchase(rent to own). That's how I got into REAL radio. I know, Aarons got me into Radio??? How could that be you ask?? The night guy(Sean Kelly), from 107.3 KKRD came into my store, we chatted, I sold him a TV, gave him a good deal, and told him to help me get back into radio. A couple of months go by, we throw a party at our house, Sean shows up. I tell him again that I want in, I'll do whatever. He finally lets me do stupid stuff on his show. That's how I got back into radio and how I am where I am today.

So after seven years of radio, nine radio station, well over 20,000 miles moved, I am here in Jacksonville, Florida. The past two years here have been great! Love it. I have met some great people, done some great things, and it's really been a blast-e-blast.

The only thing that sucks is holidays. Really, my family hasn't been all that festive, but my friends all invite me to thier parents houses, or I got to the Cotter family's dinners. I have great friends who I love dearly, and I miss them. Sometimes I think I should just get a 'real' job and move back home. Then I have those amazing radio days that makes me think I am nuts.

It's time to jump on the air. If you want, comment. If not, cool. Hopefully I will have some bomb ass stories to post up here, and just random ish.
